Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Front End Engineer to join the Amazon Connect team, building scalable, customer-focused web interfaces for a rapidly growing cloud contact center service. You will own code end-to-end from design to development, collaborate with senior engineers, and apply JS/HTML/CSS, Angular or React, and TypeScript to deliver resilient, scalable user experiences.

This role emphasizes strong CS fundamentals and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience.
• 1 year of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
• 1 year of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Responsibilities

• As a Front End Engineer on our team, you’ll own code end-to-end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
• You’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data and more.
