Job summary

Coalition is seeking a Frontend Engineer for the Underwriting Workbench. You will build fast, clear interfaces for underwriters and AI-assisted workflows, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design to translate complex needs into usable tools.

You will ensure the data-heavy UI remains performant while shipping reusable components and maintaining a strong focus on product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building web UIs with TS/React/HTML/CSS.
• Experience integrating frontends with REST APIs and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the core Workbench experience for underwriters.
• Keep data-heavy application fast, responsive, and reliable.
• Create interfaces for AI-assisted workflows that are clear and trustworthy.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape requirements.
• Translate insights from underwriters into product improvements.
• Raise technical quality via code reviews and testing.
