Job summary

Farther is building an AI-assisted wealth-management platform that blends expert advisors with cutting-edge technology. You will help design the system that defines what a screen can be and the guardrails for unanticipated inputs, shaping both framework and assistant itself.

You will work on the renderer, wire contracts with the agent backend, and mentor engineers while maintaining a strong focus on developer experience and scalable frontend patterns.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web applications, including frontend as the product
• Expert-level frontend engineering with strong typing disciplines
• Production experience with LLMs, agentic systems, tool calling, streaming responses, conversational interfaces

Responsibilities

• Deliver the assistant experience, prototype production — surface advisors reach for
• Build the framework underneath it, enabling Farther surfaces to declare agent capabilities
• Design the renderer turning model output into a real, validated interface
• Negotiate and version the wire contract with the backend team and enforce it with tests
• Mentor engineers and set high quality standards in code reviews
• Foster strong documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
