Clyde's Restaurant Group, the operator of Ebbitt House in Reston, VA, is hiring for a Server / Front Waiter to join the opening team at Reston Station. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, presenting menu options, and ensuring smooth dining room operations.

The position offers flexible scheduling (part-time, full-time, on-call) and a suite of benefits, including health plans, training, 401k, and dining discounts. Training will be provided to uphold Clyde’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Bus tables when the meal is complete and reset for next guests.
• Process payments and close out checks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SERVER / FRONT WAITER

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests
• Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage
