The Tombs in Baltimore is seeking a friendly server/front waiter to join Clyde's team. This role emphasizes greeting guests, presenting menus, and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic setting.

You will relay orders via POS, multitask efficiently in a fast-paced dining room, and cultivate a warm guest rapport from arrival to departure. The position offers training, growth potential, and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them to the restaurant.

• Relay orders to bar/kitchen using POS system.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Clear tables and reset for the next guests after meals.
• Present bills, process payments, and close out checks.
• Resolve guest issues with courtesy and professionalism.
• Extend closing greetings and thank guests for dining with us.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SERVER / FRONT WAITER

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guestsBus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage
