Job summary

SEIA Restaurant in Miami is seeking a Front Server to join our service team. You will deliver prompt, friendly table service and keep guests informed about the menu, beverages, and wine offerings.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of restaurant experience, is organized, communicates well, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays. A Food Handlers Safety Certificate is preferred. Training and room for growth are available.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in restaurants or similar.
  • Must be organized, motivating, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
  • Must be able to stand long hours and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, friendly table service and expert menu knowledge.
  • Act as brand ambassador of SEIA Restaurant and uphold service standards.
  • Drive a positive guest experience with energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with support staff to maintain a casual yet high-quality dining environment.

Job description

We seek an enthusiastic and capable Front Server to join our exceptional team of service leaders at SEIA Restaurant. This role is responsible for always providing prompt and friendly food and beverage service to our guests by following the Restaurant Brand Standard.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the ultimate ambassador of the restaurant’s cuisine and culture to our guests.
  • Set the stage for the experience a guest will have and be responsible for the guest experience by providing prompt, attentive table service and by being all‑knowing regarding our menu, beverage, and wine offerings.
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about hospitality, food and beverage.
  • Serve as a role model for the restaurant and be accountable for the actions taken.
  • Work with a strong attention to detail and direct the activities of support staff to ensure a friendly and casual dining experience.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in restaurants or establishments of similar caliber.
  • Must be organized, motivating, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Food Handlers Safety Certificate preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
  • Must be able to exert well‑paced ability in limited space and reach other locations of the restaurant in a timely basis.
  • Must have manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and stretch. Can frequently lift up to 30 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
