Job summary

Jain Global LLC is seeking a Junior Execution Support Engineer in New York to provide front-line production support for trading desks across OMS, EMS, FIX, and APIs. You will diagnose issues, monitor alerts, and collaborate with traders and technology teams to keep workflows smooth.

You will build familiarity with FIX, end-to-end trade lifecycle, and develop Python-based tools to automate tasks, improving efficiency and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Linux and SQL.
• Familiarity with Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line production support for Portfolio Managers and Execution Traders across OMS, EMS, FIX, APIs, and related trading systems.
• Monitor production trading systems and respond to alerts, incidents, and user queries.
• Assist with investigating issues involving orders, executions, allocations, positions, market data, connectivity, and downstream trading workflows.
• Develop understanding of FIX protocol, electronic trading workflows, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Work with Technology, Operations, Compliance, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support UAT, production releases, system upgrades, and deployment of new functionality.
