Job summary

State Street is seeking a proactive analyst to support the Front Office Trading Services team in Financing Solutions. You will work with Sales & Trading desks, Operations, and clients to ensure accurate processing, settlement, and risk controls for Agency Lending activities.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and delivering timely solutions in a fast-paced environment with in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 7+ years in financial services with exposure to secure lending, prime services, or agency lending.
• Client facing experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Agency Lending trading desks with lifecycle management of securities lending transactions.
• Handle daily front-office support activities, including rate break resolution, loan amendments, and trade rebookings.
• Investigate trade discrepancies, settlement issues, collateral exceptions, and counterparty inquiries with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for Operations on Agency Lending trade support matters and resolve breaks and recalls.
• Monitor loan activity around market events (dividends, corporate actions) and take actions to mitigate risk.
• Oversee loan recalls, return activity, and inventory adjustments to meet client liquidity needs.
• Review loan fee, rebate, and reclaim rate discrepancies in collaboration with brokers and counterparties.
• Assist onboarding, legal, risk, compliance, and operations to ensure trading readiness and accuracy.
• Perform control and oversight on dividend processing, rate validation, and risk controls for Agency Lending.
• Investigate settlement and collateral-related inquiries with Operations and Trading for issue resolution.
• Produce and maintain reports, reconciliations, and data quality controls for transactions.
• Participate in governance forums and client service initiatives to support growth.
• Be SME for Agency Lending processes and support strategic initiatives and audits.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Technology, and Operations on collateral optimization.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce operational risk.
