JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer for the Precious Metals / Front Office / Athena in the Commodities Tech team in New York.

You will lead an agile team delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way, collaborating with Trading, Quantitative Research, Sales and Middle Office to drive business impact and implement advanced technologies. You will mentor a NYC-based software engineering team, guide design decisions, and ensure production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Experience in Python or Java and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trading, Quantitative Research, Sales and Middle Office to deliver quality code.
• Lead the Precious Metals and Agricultural products team and align with global priorities.
• Manage NYC-based software engineering team to drive business results.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Influence product design, functionality, and operations decisions.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable solutions.
• Promote firmwide SDLC frameworks and best practices.
• Influence peers and decision-makers on new technologies.
