Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of applied experience.
• We require 2+ years of experience leading technologists to resolve complex technical issues within your area of expertise.
• We expect a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or an equivalent mix of training and relevant experience.
• We value hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need experience building performant, large-scale systems in an object-oriented or functional language such as Python or Java.
• We want advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more disciplines such as cloud, object-oriented programming, full stack development, or quantitative finance.
• We expect the ability to solve design and functionality challenges independently with minimal oversight.
• We require a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• We look for enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth in both technical capability and business knowledge.
• We require prior experience managing a software engineering team.

• We serve as the regional lead for the Precious Metals and Agricultural Products team, supporting regional business needs while staying aligned with global priorities.
• We act as the direct manager for the NYC-based software engineering team and help drive business outcomes through the team.
• We provide technical direction and support to business stakeholders, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We make decisions that shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• We foster cross-functional collaboration with Core Technology and business teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
• We contribute actively to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices.
• We influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies.
