The role oversees scheduling, training, and daily operations, ensuring accurate billing, HIPAA compliance, and a welcoming patient experience. Hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexibility based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or clinical environment
• Customer Service Experience
• Strong computer skills required
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
• Some college – medical, business, accounting focus
• Current BLS card preferred
• EMR experience preferred-Athenahealth practice management system

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations daily, including scheduling staff and training.
• Enforce attendance, punctuality, and dependability guidelines.
• Handle complaints and concerns from patients and staff as first line of contact.
• Greet incoming patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure billing processes are timely and accurate; keep front office organized.
• Collect co-pays and balances due per patient insurance guidelines.
• Coordinate front office meetings and maintain HIPAA compliance.
