Job summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in the Florida Keys is seeking an experienced Front Office Supervisor to lead daily Front Desk operations and guide the Front Office team. The role includes coaching staff, resolving guest concerns, and driving revenue opportunities through upselling, while participating in overnight MOD rotations.

This hands-on leadership position requires hospitality expertise, strong guest service skills, and the ability to coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel Front Desk or Front Office experience
• Strong guest service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Resort or full-service hotel experience preferred
• Experience with hotel property management systems required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, varying shifts, and overnight MOD coverage

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Desk operations during assigned shifts and ensure service standards are met
• Greet, check in, and check out guests with personalized, professional service
• Escalate guest concerns and provide timely service recovery
• Engage with guests to identify needs and resolve concerns before departure
• Drive guest satisfaction scores and positive reviews through service and follow-up
• Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, packages, promotions, and amenities
• Ensure accurate guest, reservation, payment, and shift records
• Follow cash-handling, credit, reconciliation, and Front Office procedures
• Lead, coach, and train Front Desk team members
• Identify upselling opportunities to maximize Front Desk revenue
• Provide MOD coverage as needed and support operations across departments
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Reservations, F&B, and other departments
