Oversees daily agent activities at the front desk, ensuring all team members adhere to company standards. Interacts with guests, handles requests, and aims to exceed guest expectations by providing a four-diamond experience. Supports front desk agents through feedback and training. Understands customer needs, improves processes based on feedback, and manages inventory in collaboration with the purchasing department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the quality, efficiency, and safe operations of the Front Office department.
  • Ensure smooth flow of arriving and departing guests.
  • Review occupancy patterns and reports to maintain proper coverage and service levels.
  • Supervise overnight front office team, ensuring adherence to Loews Star Service Standards.
  • Lead the overnight team, making critical decisions when necessary.
  • Develop overnight front desk staff and Star Service operators.
  • Maintain communication with other departments.
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints courteously.
  • Manage payroll and labor costs within budget.
  • Complete overnight checklists and distribute reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of back office and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of supplies.
  • Execute emergency procedures per hotel standards.
  • Report problems or unusual matters.
  • Attend meetings and training.
  • Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests and staff.
  • Promote teamwork and comply with policies and safety regulations.
  • Stay informed about hotel updates.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills—oral and written.
  • Strong guest service skills.
  • Knowledge of property management computer programs.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or strong technical and service skills.

Experience: Minimum two years as a Front Desk Agent at a comparable property.
