Description

Christ Health Center is seeking a Front Office Receptionist Lead who will serve as the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring every patient feels valued from their first interaction.

This role combines excellent customer service with strong organizational skills to maintain smooth front office operations. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, answering calls, supporting administrative functions, leading and training front desk staff, and fostering a professional, warm environment.

Leadership & Team Coordination
  • Lead and train front office and call center staff to uphold high service standards and efficiency.
  • Provide feedback and support to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for front office concerns, escalating issues as needed.
  • Handle review processes related to financial hardships and insurance discrepancies.
  • Assist with patient conflict de-escalation.
  • Manage cash box daily, balance collections, and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate communication between clinical and front office teams for seamless operations.
Requirements
Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet and check patients in and out.
  • Answer calls professionally and promptly.
  • Respond to patient information requests.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Maintain patient records and update information per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Verify insurance and collect payments at the time of service.
  • Balance cash drawer daily.
  • Participate in staff training and quality assurance activities.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and self-direction.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Certified Patient Account Representative (C-PAR) preferred.
Additional Skills

Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and correspondence; perform basic mathematical calculations; apply general rules to specific problems; and work within OSHA and universal precautions standards.
