Job summary

Spooky Nook Sports Inc is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the hotel front desk team and drive exceptional guest service within the Lancaster County complex. You will oversee operations, budgeting, payroll, and performance with a focus on maintaining a premier service environment.

You will work with hotel leadership to implement rate strategies, manage cash handling, and coordinate with housekeeping and sales to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ years in a hotel front office/sales role.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Associates degree in related field.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Previous supervisory experience in guest-focused department.
• Demonstrates integrity, initiative, teamwork and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, high quality service environment at all times.
• Act as manager on duty for the hotel and handle service issues and problem-solving.
• Communicate daily activities, VIP guests, events and special circumstances to the hotel team.
• Schedule and manage payroll for front desk, night audit, and reservations.
• Manage department operating expenses and purchasing; establish cash handling procedures.
• Participate in Yield Management meetings to maximize hotel revenue.
• Develop and enforce property management system procedures and compliance.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Sales Manager on rate and inventory strategies.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to maintain cleanliness standards beyond expectations.
• Monitor industry trends and local attractions for guest knowledge.
