Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is launching Viceroy Park Avenue in New York City, December 2026. We are seeking motivated hospitality professionals to join the pre-opening team, shaping culture, service standards, and operational excellence from day one.

The Assistant Front Office Manager will lead front desk operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and collaborate across departments to maximize occupancy and revenue while upholding the brand's luxury standards.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required; OPERA experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows and Office suite (spreadsheets/word processing).
• Long hours and two overnight shifts are required.
• Able to stand during the entire shift and maintain warmth.
• Strong verbal and written communication; guest-centric service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office operations, ensuring attentive, friendly service.
• Collaborate with Sales/Reservations for group requests and VIPs.
• Lead guest service training within the front office.
• Register guests promptly, upsell to maximize room rates, manage check-ins/outs.
• Maintain guest profiles and handle VIP arrivals and special requests.
• Manage daily receipts, deposits, and basic financial data.
• Coordinate with PBX and support departments; resolve guest issues.
• Ensure adherence to hotel standards and participate in required trainings.
