Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager for Residence Inn Isla Verde. This role ensures attentive, friendly service, maximizes room revenue, and supports smooth front office operations.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree, at least 1 year of related experience, strong Windows and office software skills, and a proven ability to lead and train staff in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required. Two overnight shifts with this position.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly and service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Sales and Reservations to fulfill all special requests for groups, VIPs, etc.
• Assist daily in the guest reception.
• Responds daily to all social media feedback and follow up with guests.
• Communicates effectively with guests, team members and other departments.
• Assists and often leads guest service training initiatives within the front office.
• Maintains a friendly and caring demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Registers guests into the hotel and handles up-selling and check-ins/outs.
