We are hiring a Front Office Manager for a brand new hotel!

The Guest Services Manager/Front Office Manager is responsible for the success of the front desk, ensuring guest satisfaction, meeting product quality standards, and managing all hotel areas according to brand standards to create a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and quality. They should display exemplary performance for staff to follow.

Salary: $57,900 - $72,400

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain guest service as the core philosophy of the hotel.
  • Strive to make every guest satisfied.
  • Ensure all hotel staff, including new hires, are trained in guest services and meet standards.
  • Develop added value customer service programs.
  • Empower staff to deliver guest service by encouraging and rewarding responsiveness.
  • Act as manager on duty and oversee front desk operations.
  • Train front desk staff in check-in/check-out, telephone procedures, hotel amenities, and computer systems.
  • Participate in revenue management activities and corporate calls.
  • Produce accurate financial reports timely.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Manager/DOS to generate new business ideas and manage room rates and lists.
  • Manage HR functions including recruiting, training, performance reviews, and reward programs.
  • Ensure all staff are aware of hotel objectives and personnel policies are followed legally and fairly.
  • Resolve employee grievances promptly.
  • Mentor management talent and monitor staff turnover.
  • Know and comply with local health, safety, and security codes and policies.
  • Maintain physical standards through preventive maintenance and deep cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of rooms, exterior, and parking areas.
