Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead daily front desk operations and train staff to deliver exceptional guest service. Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of the Front Office Department.
  • Supervising, training, scheduling, and evaluating front desk employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, and guest service procedures.
  • Resolving guest concerns and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Monitoring room inventory, occupancy levels, and front office revenue performance.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, accounting, and sales departments to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Preparing operational reports and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, labor cost control, and departmental expense management.
  • Monitoring cash handling procedures, night audit operations, and front office financial controls.
  • Participating in hiring, employee development, and performance management initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and hospitality industry regulations.
  • Lead by example.
  • Assists with procurement of operating supplies for all departments.
  • Implements and maintains Front Office and Housekeeping department minimum standards.

Education

Job Description

The primary duties of the Front Office Manager are to ensure guest satisfaction and overall efficiency of front office, to train staff as outlined in the Training Procedures, and ensure staff is prepared to provide excellence to our guests and visitors at all times.
