Job summary

Xanterra is seeking a Front Desk Manager for the Oasis at Death Valley in California. You will lead Front Office operations including Reservations, PBX, Concierge and Bell Staff to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating with Housekeeping and Maintenance, managing staff schedules, and upholding Oasis at Death Valley quality standards in a dynamic park environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years management experience preferably in guest service setting.
• Previous Hotel Front Desk Management and/or Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with front desk operating systems and telecommunication systems.
• Advanced computer skills to learn POS and front office systems.
• Knowledge of AAA 3- or 4-Diamond standards.
• Valid Driver’s License and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office operations, Reservations, PBX, Concierge and Bell Staff.
• Schedule Front Office staff according to business demands.
• Coordinate training for new and ongoing front office staff.
• Conduct annual staff reviews and administer corrective action.
• Balance rooms to prevent oversells and manage VIP/group requests.
• Collaborate with Sales for tour group bookings and billing.
