Job summary

Talan Group seeks a Front Office Trading Support to provide production and application support for Fixed Income trading applications in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with traders, development teams, and technology support to ensure stability and performance of trading systems.

The role requires experience in application support, Unix/Linux, SQL, and knowledge of Fixed Income products, with a hybrid NYC work arrangement and visa sponsorship options under specific treaties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in application support or production support.
• Experience in Front Office or financial markets environment.
• Experience supporting traders, sales teams, or business users.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and SQL.
• Bash or shell scripting knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products including bonds, CDS, and CDX is preferred.
• Understanding of pricing, risk calculations, or electronic trading workflows is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and availability of Front Office trading applications and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide day-to-day support to traders and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform application releases and deployments with development teams.
• Investigate, diagnose and escalate production incidents to minimize impact.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business stakeholders for stability.
• Maintain operational procedures and support documentation.
• Collaborate with global teams across New York, Montreal, London and Paris.
