Position Overview
The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk at IKIDS Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and families warmly as they arrive at the office.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with dental staff to optimize the daily schedule.
Verify insurance coverage and explain benefits to patients and families, providing detailed breakdowns when necessary.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Process payments, including copays and outstanding balances, using the office's billing system.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental office or medical front office setting is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using dental office software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.

Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM
