Job summary

Loews Regency New York Hotel on the Upper East Side is seeking a warm and welcoming Front Office Agent to create memorable first impressions from check-in to check-out. You will combine professionalism with genuine hospitality while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You'll greet guests, assist with room assignments, verify payments, and promote hotel services. Prior guest service experience and familiarity with a Property Management System (Opera) are

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary/required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information.
• Promote hotel services and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions.
• Monitor cleanliness of Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and safety.
• May be required to work varying schedules and attend mandatory training.

• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include :

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
• Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.

The wage for this position is $32.85 to $32.85.
