Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a front desk agent to warmly welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out with professional efficiency. You will blend hospitality with accurate payment handling, room assignment, and guest service enhancements to ensure memorable stays.

Ideal candidates bring guest-service experience, strong communication, and team spirit. The role supports a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, flexible schedules, and ongoing training at a premier Nashville property.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
  • Obtain and verify payment information per hotel policy.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of events, groups, and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash accurately.
  • Ensure lobby and front desk area stays clean and presentable.
  • Handle emergencies professionally and prioritize safety.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include
  • Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
  • Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.
