Lore Group's Riggs Washington DC hotel is seeking a friendly, guest-focused reservations professional. You will handle calls, emails, and inquiries while delivering accurate information about rooms, rates, and services.
This role supports seamless guest experiences with upgrades and timely responses. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and flexibility to meet business needs.
Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
Answer reservation calls, emails, and online inquiries professionally.
Process new reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately.
Provide guests with information about rooms, rates, amenities, and hotel services.
Promote room upgrades and special offers when appropriate.
Coordinate guest requests with hotel departments to ensure a seamless stay.
Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles.
Resolve reservation-related guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Hotel Experience is not required – Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST
Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of current hotel and nearby events
A minimum of 1 -2 years hospitality experience is preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written is a MUST
Possess poise, elegance and calm demeanor in all situations
Exceptional Organizational skills
Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business
$24.00 per hour
