Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a friendly Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in, and ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. You’ll guide guests to rooms, verify payment details, and highlight hotel amenities and local attractions with genuine hospitality.

The role requires at least one year of guest service experience, familiarity with Opera System, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
  • Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
  • Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policy.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Monitor cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby.
  • Handle emergencies with professionalism and prioritize safety.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Attend mandatory trainings and meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
  • Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
  • Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.
