Job summary

Loews Atlanta Hotel seeks a warm Front Office Agent to greet guests from check-in to check-out, delivering professional hospitality in a fast-paced Midtown setting.

You will assist with room assignments, verify payments, promote services, and respond to inquiries, contributing to memorable guest experiences. This role requires at least one year of guest service experience; Opera PMS experience is a plus, with weekend/evening availability and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with Opera System (PMS) preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary/required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Assign rooms according to guest preferences and requests.
  • Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
