TJ Maxx in Vienna, VA is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, support store management, and ensure a safe shopping environment. You will wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers, and respond to requests through store communications.

The role emphasizes vigilance, compliance with company policies, and collaboration with store teams. Prior experience in retail or security is valued for effective performance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Acts as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
