Job summary

TJ Maxx in Germantown, TN is hiring for a Loss Prevention/Front-of-Store role. The position supports store management and loss prevention by deterring dishonesty, performing safety sweeps, and wearing a Body Worn Camera.

You’ll maintain a visible front-area presence, greet customers, and help direct them to management or service staff as needed. The role requires strong communication, good judgment, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Ability to take initiative and work independently; prioritizes workload and manages time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via a Company radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
