The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring a Loss Prevention Associate to support district LP and store management, acting as a visible deterrent and wearing a Body Worn Camera. You will help ensure a safe, secure shopping environment and uphold company policies and values.

The role requires strong communication, decision-making, and the ability to work independently. Benefits and competitive pay are provided according to policy.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision making abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Efficiently prioritize and manage workload and time.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• 0–2 years in retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional frontline stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear the designated uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers courteously and refer questions to management or customer service.
• Position yourself at the front or in a department to assist customers.
• Respond to requests via the store radio and direct to management or LP.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
