Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in New York State seeks a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, assist customers, and support store safety. You will wear a Body Worn Camera and represent the company’s policies while working with store teams and Loss Prevention.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, reporting incidents, and maintaining security at the front of the store. Prior retail or security experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Retail or security experience (0–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform and Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and show courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or management.
• Conduct a closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
