Job summary

King's Fish House in Long Beach seeks an enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to lead guest service in a fast-paced setting. You will learn the business and grow your career through hands-on service, coaching and teamwork.

Paid hourly at $20–$24 with competitive benefits, training, and a dining discount. This role is a stepping stone toward management training in a dynamic seafood restaurant.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 to serve alcohol with food.
• High school graduate, some college preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Food Handler Card.
• Clear verbal and written English.
• Basic math skills for guest checks and orders.
• Strong organizational skills and concentration under busy service.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening duties and standard procedures.
• Seat Guests promptly, with attention to special requests.
• Ensure transfer of guest checks from bar to dining room staff.
• Anticipate and acknowledge Guests’ needs during service.
• Interact courteously with Guests and team members.
• Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally.
• Follow manager’s instructions and maintenance schedules.
• Update menus and wine lists as directed.
• Complete closing reports and shift duties.
