Front of House Manager Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Front of House Team by overseeing staff actions, ensuring they embody the restaurant's concept to the highest standards.
  2. Maintain a clean and well-organized restaurant environment.
  3. Manage cash flow, including the bar drawer, petty cash, and nightly deposits.
  4. Secure the restaurant at the end of each shift.
  5. Supervise and support hosts/hostesses, servers, and bartenders, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
  6. Educate staff on menu offerings, sales techniques, and service steps to enhance guest satisfaction and increase check averages.
  7. Hold employees accountable through reprimands or praise based on performance and policy adherence.
  8. Fill in for any Front of House employee unable to perform their duties during a shift.
  9. Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new Front of House staff.
  10. Foster a supportive work environment.
  11. Exceed guest expectations through outstanding service.
  12. Assist with reservations and event planning to create a hospitable environment.
  13. Ensure timely delivery of food (within 20 minutes) and drinks (within 3-5 minutes).
  14. Maintain a strict 25% monthly alcohol cost.
  15. Coordinate with the chef on ordering and stock management for bar items.
  16. Develop seasonal alcohol programs, including beer, wine, liquor, and cocktails.
  17. Promote the company through meetings, partnerships, marketing, and attendance at company events.
