TRAPPER'S SUSHI SURPRISE LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Surprise, AZ to lead the front‑of‑house team and elevate guest experiences. You will coach staff, manage scheduling, and partner with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth operations during peak times.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in front-of-house hospitality.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to hire, train, motivate, and retain front-of-house team members.
• Strong scheduling, labor management, and cash handling knowledge.
• Clear, friendly communication with guests, team members, leadership, and HR.
• Ability to stay organized and make sound decisions during busy service.
• Proficiency with POS, scheduling, and timekeeping systems; Toast and 7shifts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the front-of-house guest experience from greeting to farewell, keeping service warm and consistent with Trapper's standards.
• Maintain visible floor presence during peak periods, supporting servers and bartenders and keeping the pace of service on track.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, follow up on recurring issues, and turn unhappy guests into returning ones.
• Partner with the kitchen to keep ticket times, food presentation, and order accuracy.
• Monitor guest feedback and online reviews and act on what guests are telling us.
• Keep the dining room, bar, host stand, and restrooms clean and guest‑ready at all times.
• Hire, train, and develop hosts, servers, bartenders, and front‑of‑house leads with HR support.
• Lead pre‑shift meetings that set expectations and recognize great work.
• Coach team members in real time with timely feedback.
