Bon Appetit Management Company in our restaurant group seeks a Front of House Manager reporting to the General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, with emphasis on staff scheduling, customer service, and ensuring top-quality food and beverage.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, supervising alcohol service, assisting with catering events, coordinating with vendors, and fostering strong team relationships to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing others; strong communication with diverse people.
• Education in industry; strong computer and planning skills.
• Excellent planning, timely and competent decisions.
• Ability to manage large inventories and budgets.
• Ability to work late afternoons through nights and weekends.
• Desire to lead and strong grasp of what needs to be done.
• Creative while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the beverage industry.
• Finance, Loss Prevention, and HR experience.
• College degree and management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws.
• Certification by the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff.
• Manages budget and inventory.
• Trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service.
• Assists with catering events.
• Manages culinary program.
• Maintains positive working relationship with staff, venue client and production team.
• Works with vendors.
• Works with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results.
