Job summary

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Ballantyne location in Charlotte, NC. This hands-on leadership role oversees Front of House operations, guest experience, the bar program, and floor-level financial controls, reporting to the General Manager.

With a focus on driving sales, staff development, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences, you will lead a busy FOH team in a high-volume, full-service setting and help grow the business as we expand to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Proven track record of driving sales, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of North Carolina liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service requirements.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification, or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Experience managing point-of-sale systems, scheduling, cash handling, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and guest satisfaction on every shift.
• Lead FOH team, provide training, evaluations and coaching.
• Manage bar/beverage program and liquor costs.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling and deposits.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and safety standards.
