Job summary

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in Charlotte, NC seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead Front of House operations at Ballantyne location. This hands-on leadership role drives guest experience, staff performance, and financial controls in a busy craft-beer environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the FOH team, bar program, scheduling, and training, with opportunities for growth as we expand. Excellent guest service and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proven track record of driving sales, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of North Carolina liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service requirements.
• ServSafe Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience with POS systems, scheduling, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; champion of values.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and guest satisfaction on every shift.
• Lead FOH staff training, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Oversee bar and beverage program, including liquor costs and compliance.
• Administer POS, menu updates, pricing, and staff access.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and deposits.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
