Job summary

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead front-of-house operations at our Ballantyne location. You will drive guest experience, service standards, and floor-level financial controls while managing the FOH team.

This hands-on leadership role requires a track record in high-volume hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to coach staff, schedule shifts, and uphold liquor and safety policies as we grow with new locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant/hospitality management experience.
• Proven drive to improve guest satisfaction and sales.
• Knowledge of North Carolina liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with scheduling, cash handling, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day FOH operations and guest experience.
• Coach and develop FOH staff; conduct evaluations.
• Manage shifts, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Oversee liquor orders and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
