Job summary

Edmonds Village Senior Living is seeking a Front of the House Manager for our 55+ community restaurant and lounge. You will lead a hospitality-focused team, ensure smooth service from kitchen to residents, and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The role covers breakfast through dinner, specials, events, and Happy Hour, with responsibilities in scheduling, training, and maintaining standards. We value reliable leaders who communicate well and keep residents at the center of every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and coach FOH staff.
• Excellent communication and guest relations.
• Experience with scheduling and staffing.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house operations across breakfast, lunch, Happy Hour, and dinner.
• Lead service in The Compass Rose and Portside Lounge, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage seating, reservations, and dining room flow.
• Train, coach, and supervise FOH staff; conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and health code compliance.
