Job summary

Roti Indian Bistro LLC in San Francisco is seeking a friendly server to greet and seat guests, take and relay food and beverage orders, and deliver dishes with attentive service.

You will maintain knowledge of the menu, assist guests with questions about ingredients or allergens, handle payments at the table or till, and collaborate with FOH and BOH teammates to keep service smooth during busy evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Passion for food, culture, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a welcoming dining experience
• Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff
• Deliver dishes and drinks to tables in a timely and attentive manner
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and common allergens, to assist guests with questions
• Process payments, handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Bus and reset tables efficiently to maintain restaurant flow during service
• Collaborate with back-of-house and FOH team members to ensure smooth, seamless service
