Job summary

Elephants Delicatessen is hiring a Front of House team member in Portland, OR. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and preparing food and beverages to Elephants recipes.

The position requires reliable transportation to the Corbett Avenue location and open availability with Thursday & Friday off. Ideal candidates bring at least one year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative attitude to

Qualifications

1 year of customer service experience; food service or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide exemplary customer service and engage with customers.
Sell and promote products; help direct customers around the store and menu.
Maintain product knowledge and prepare food and beverages per Elephant's recipes.
Keep a clean, orderly work area and assist in various FOH roles.
Monitor workflow during peak hours and address guest concerns professionally.
