Job summary

Naval Academy Hospitality seeks a Retail Dining FOH Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations across multiple venues on the USNA Yard. The role includes scheduling, event management, and guest engagement for weddings, retirements, reunions and conferences. Shifts vary, with morning or evening hours, 4-8 hours, weekdays and weekends.

Eligible candidates must meet one of the listed education/experience options, be able to obtain security clearance, and be U.S. citizens for Tier 3 positions.

Qualifications

• One of: 1 year specialized food service experience or five years education beyond high school or three years general work experience.
• Ability to lead Front of House teams and coordinate with kitchen, logistics, and staff.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day operations for designated locations according to Manager instructions and SOPs.
• Oversee staff assignments including setup, service, teardown and side work; ensure uniforms are correct.
• Coordinate with managers, kitchen, logistics, and inventory staff; confirm reservations and floor plans.
• Manage customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and ensure safety, sanitation, and alcohol policies are followed.
• Assist with cash bars, revenue settlement, and post-event reporting per SOPs.
