Job summary

Pick & Cheese at Shaver Food Hall in New York is seeking a Front-of-House Team Member to be the heartbeat of the guest experience, guiding diners through our conveyor-belt concept and sharing knowledge of British cheeses.

You're expected to thrive in a busy environment, bring 1 year+ restaurant experience, basic wine knowledge, and a proactive attitude while delivering warm, professional hospitality and top hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ restaurant experience.
• Basic wine knowledge and general food & beverage knowledge.
• British cheese knowledge is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with empathy and ensure a great guest experience.
• Maintain station appearance and set up the restaurant to the required layout.
• Process orders and bills using the EPOS system and manage reservations/queues.
• Uphold high hygiene standards and general health & safety requirements.
