Position Objective
The Cashier is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest experience while ensuring accuracy in ordering, payment processing, and overall front-of-house operations. This role supports the team by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a positive, high-energy environment that reflects our hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and positive energy
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu guidance and answer guest questions
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
- Support smooth service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front counter and dining areas
- Ensure order accuracy before handoff
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and team members
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Restock front-of-house items as needed
- Support opening and closing duties
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods, up to 80% of the shift
- Frequently lifting and moving items such as boxes, tables, umbrellas, and chairs up to 50 lbs
- Working in varying environments, including outdoor patios and fluctuating weather conditions
- Safely operating around hot kitchen surfaces and cold storage areas, including walk-in refrigerators and freezers
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred
- Experience handling cash and point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills with a guest-first mindset
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends
- Flexible schedule based on availability
Certifications
- Food safety and RBS certification are required
- If not currently certified, employee must complete certifications within 30 days of hire
