Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes in Louisville, KY. You will operate safe front-load trucks, dump containers, and haul waste to disposal sites.

The role requires CDL experience or training, sharp driving skills, and a focus on customer service. You will work on a fast-paced route, perform daily inspections, maintain route sheets, and interact professionally with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map/navigation system.
• Enter/exit the truck approximately 100–150 times per day.
• Excellent truck driving and maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.
• Must read and speak English well enough to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-load trucks for commercial customers on assigned routes.
• Dump front-load containers and haul waste/recycling to disposal or plant sites.
• Maintain route sheets and perform daily DVIR inspections.
• Ensure truck cab cleanliness and safe dumping procedures.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Work with about 100–150 customers daily and perform other duties as assigned.
