Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking energetic CDL Front Load Drivers in Fort Myers, FL to service commercial routes with safety and efficiency. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate refuse collection equipment, and maintain accurate logs while ensuring top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of DOT requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors, understand highway and traffic signals, and make legible entries on paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial businesses by picking up Front Load Containers.
• Empties containers using levers inside truck cab and may access corral doors; moves heavy loads to the truck.
• Transports waste to designated local landfill or disposal area.
• Completes route/productivity sheets, mileage logs, and vehicle condition reports as required.
• Communicates professionally with customers and reports issues to internal contacts to maintain service quality.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensures truck safety and cleanliness.
