Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Fort Myers, FL is hiring energetic CDL Drivers to operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes. The job requires a Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of CDL experience in the past 7 years.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure safety, and deliver courteous service to customers while following DOT/state requirements. We offer a $3,000 retention bonus and a driver award program up to $10,000 every three years for

Qualifications

Must have a Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
At least 1 year of CDL vehicle experience in the past 7 years; waste industry experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Understand and follow DOT/state requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
Ability to read and speak English well to communicate with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

Drive truck on pre-established routes and safely collect and dump garbage/recycle materials.
Provide courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and municipal partners.
Ensure proper pickup and transfer of garbage and recyclables.
Perform Daily Pre- and Post-Trip inspections and follow safety procedures.
Keep truck clean and perform routine checks; monitor fluids and tire condition.
Complete required reports and document route activities; supervise helpers as needed.
