Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse Roanoke is hiring a Store Protection Specialist to deter theft and safeguard customers in a full-time role. You will maintain a visible presence at the front of the store, greet customers, and coordinate with management on incidents and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to requests via radio, reporting suspicious activity, and assisting in crisis coordination while upholding company policies and values.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring to store management or a service desk via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to Security Operations Center and store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document required incidents and coordinate response to crises when needed.
