Pay-O-Matic is seeking a Front-Line Customer Service Representative to join our Bronx stores. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and promote our financial services while working a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

The role emphasizes accuracy, friendly service, and strong teamwork across multiple locations. The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, a professional appearance, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and responds to customers’ needs.
• Processes customer transactions including cashing checks, money transfers, bill payments and selling a wide range of pre-paid products.
• Opens new preferred customer accounts and issues preferred customer cards.
• Ensures completion of customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintains customer accounts by updating photos, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
• Maintains knowledge of Payomatic’s products and services.
• Responds to inquiries regarding accounts or services in a professional manner.
• Promotes services by offering information on valuable services.
