Job summary

Total Wine & More in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service at the register and support customers throughout their visit. You will process transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and stay informed about promotions while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

This role may also involve as needed sales associate or merchandiser duties, with training on wine, beer and spirits to build product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and teamwork.
• 1-3 years retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and bagging.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers and building relationships.
• Participate in product training to build knowledge of wine, beer and spirits.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with alcohol sale laws.
